How to use Purge-EF
- Start the engine and run until normal operating temperature is achieved
- Stop the engine and add one full bottle of PURGE-EF to the engine oil
- Run the engine at idle for about 15 to 20 minutes
- Stop the engine and allow to sit for a further 30 minutes
- Drain the used engine oil containing PURGE-EF until all the oil has drained out
- Replace the drain plug and fill with the correct grade and quantity of engine oil
In heavily contaminated engines, the circulation time and the idle or “soaking” time can be increased. In the case of very heavy contaminations or in larger diesel engines, the amount of PURGE-EF used can also be increased. - Extensive testing of PURGE-EF on typical automotive alloys have shown it to be safe to use over extended periods
